Blizzcon 2011 or Bust

Or what I’ll be watching on the livestream.

I’m still not going to Blizzcon, but thanks to Blizzard’s handy dandy app I can plan out what I intend on paying close attention to at the end of the week.

On Friday 10/21 (all times PDT):

  • Opening Ceremony (11a-12p)
  • WoW Preview (12:30-2p)
  • WoW Class Talent System (2:15-3:15)
  • WoW Dungeons and Raids (3:30-4:30)
  • WoW UI Development (4-4:50)
  • Diablo III Gameplay and Auction House 4:45-5:45
  • WoW 4.3 Raid and Deathwing (5:00-5:50)
  • Contests (6-9)

Double booked? Heck no.  I’ll be watching the livestream, so I can watch whenever I’d like.  Sadly I’ll have to work that day, so I’ll probably be a bit behind most people.

On Saturday 10/22 (all times PDT):

  • WoW Live Raid (10-11)
  • WoW  Open Q&A (2:30-3:30)
  • WoW Future Features (4-4:50)
  • WoW Grand Finals (4:15-5:30)
  • Closing Ceremony (6-9:30)

So given the fact that I can watch and replay any of these events I’d like, I intend on doing a Blizzcon 2011 wrap up for everything I watch after the con is over.  I’ll also be doing some contests! I still have 4 more non-combat pets and a Celestial Steed to give away!

How do you enter?

  • Follow me on Twitter! I’ll be asking some trivia there.
  • Watch this blog! I’ll have some quizzes here too!

I’m getting really excited at the impending news.  What’re you most looking forward to?

P.S. – If you’re actually going to be attending Blizzcon, if you see anyone in a Conquest track jacket, tell them Morynne says hi.

  1. I personally wanna hear about the new expansion details. So people can finally stop talking about the Mists of Pandaria and start hyping the actual future content. I’m also pretty excited about Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm updates and if we’ll finally find out what Starcraft 2: Phoenix is supposed to be. And the Starcraft 2 tournament is shaping to be pretty amazing.

    • Agreed on the speculation. It still wouldn’t surprise me too much if we do see Rainbows in Pandaland as an expansion — it has some potential. More than anything I’m interested in where they’d go with it — regardless of what they call it.

As far as SC2 goes, I could take it or leave it, but I did very much enjoy the SC mini-games they put out at last year’s Blizzcon.
